Reminder to All Residents: Parking Lot Vehicle Limit
July 14, 2025Hello East Bluff Residents,
As winter is quickly approaching, please take a few minutes to read and follow the reminders below to help us keep the property safe, accessible, and well-maintained throughout the season.
#1 – Parking
Please park your car so that the front or rear does not overhang the sidewalk. It’s difficult for our maintenance crew to plow around vehicles that extend over the walkways.
- Do not park on or over the curb or in the fire lane medians. These areas must remain clear for emergency access and for our Maintenance staff’s bobcat machine to plow snow safely.
- We are also seeing many vehicles in visitor stalls that are not being moved during snow removal. This makes it difficult for the plows to clear the lots and slows down snow operations for the whole community.
- Vehicles blocking medians or sidewalks may result in a fine and/or towing at the owner’s expense.
#2 – Snow Removal from Parking Stalls
After every snowfall, each parking stall must be cleared by the Association’s bobcat.
- Please move your car to a visitor stall or street within 12 hours so your stall can be plowed.
- If you have a second car parked in a visitor stall, that vehicle must also be moved when plowing begins.
- If your vehicle is not moved in time, it will be your responsibility to remove the snow and ice left behind in your stall.
#3 – Private Sidewalks
Homeowners are responsible for shoveling their private sidewalk leading up to the main sidewalk.
Please keep these areas clear for your own safety and for the mail carrier’s access to your mailbox.
#4 – Sand Barrels
Sand barrels are located in all four East Bluff parking lots for resident use.
Please close the lid after each use so the sand does not get wet and freeze.
#5 – Water Faucet & Frozen Pipes
To prevent pipes from freezing and bursting this winter:
- Turn off the exterior water valve inside your unit, then open the outdoor faucet to drain any remaining water.
- Leave the faucet open all winter.
- Keep your heat on at a safe level even when you are away to prevent interior pipe freezing.
Any damage caused by frozen pipes will be the unit owner’s responsibility.
Thank you for your cooperation in keeping East Bluff safe and accessible this winter season.
